Public Policy Research/Writing Workshop
Note: Please bring your own laptop to this workshop.
The University Libraries and the Graduate School Writing Center have teamed up to offer a public policy specific research and writing workshop for graduate students. Under the instruction of the public policy subject librarian and the Writing Center staff, students will:
- Learn some of the tools of research they need to become scholars in public policy
- Acquire an initial familiarity with publication formats and norms of public policy
- Understand the role of evidence in supporting ideas
Occasionally we photograph or video events in order to help promote them to other UMD students. By attending, you acknowledge and agree to grant the Libraries the right to photograph your likeness and to use the image in promotional materials.
