Introduction to SQL

Research Education at University Libraries workshops equip researchers with the tools, concepts, and skills needed for every stage of the research lifecycle. The Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by the GIS and Data Service Center. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced-level skills in GIS, Data Science, and Data Visualization among others.

SQL is a language for managing data in databases. Our workshop will cover essential SQL concepts from constructing databases to querying and manipulating data. Learn to filter, sort, and aggregate data with SELECT statements. This workshop is ideal for beginners or those new to structured querying.
