Come to the John and Stella Graves Makerspace in the STEM Library to design and create your own 1 inch pinback buttons and magnets! On September 4th from 2-5pm, join us for our first Welcome Wednesday event of the Fall 2024 semester. 

Show off your creative side and design a button to pin onto your backpack, jacket, purses/tote bags, etc! Upcycle magazines, use a sticker, or draw your own designs. We will also have pre-made UMD, Maryland, and Testudo designs available for those eager to show off their Terp pride!

For the first time, we are also offering supplies to create your own magnets, so if you’re looking for decorations for your new mini-fridge, be sure to drop by! Magnets will only be available during this Welcome Wednesday event. 

All supplies will be provided for free!

If you are unable to attend this event but are interested in our button maker, you can drop by anytime the John and Stella Graves Makerspace is open to learn and make your own buttons.
