Welcome Wednesdays: Laser Cut & Paint!
Event box
If you love celebrating the spooky season like we do, drop by the John and Stella Graves Makerspace in the STEM Library to design, paint, and create your own Fall/Halloween decor, keychains, earrings, etc. On October 2nd from 2-5pm, join us for our October Welcome Wednesday event! This event will highlight wood-based crafts, and will teach attendees about the types of crafts and projects you can fashion with the JSG Makerspace’s Glowforge laser cutter.
Paint keychains and earrings shaped as pumpkins, ghosts, cats, bats, leaves, and other fall-themed shapes! We will have pre-made designs available to paint, but attendees will also have the opportunity to laser cut their own shapes.
All wood, paint, brushes, and keychain or earring supplies will be provided for free!
If you are unable to attend this event but are interested in our laser cutter, you can fill out this form and the Makerspace staff will email you to set up a training time!
