Welcome Wednesday: AR Sandbox Treasure Hunt

Dig for gold treasure in the AR Sandbox!

Sign up for a quick introductory workshop to learn about the AR Sandbox, an interactive educational technology that combines elements of augmented reality. It can be applied to a wide range of academic disciplines, such as Geography, Geology, Hydrology, Environmental Science, as well as general spatial awareness and interactive learning. After the demo, each participant will have the opportunity to search the Sandbox for the hidden treasure: a gold Testudo! Don’t miss this opportunity to explore innovative ways to learn and connect with geospatial concepts, show off your skills, and win cool prizes!

During the event, you will also learn how to enter the upcoming AR Sandbox Competition where participants will be able to compete for up to $500 in awards.

Due to the limited space in the AR Sandbox room, we are requesting that all participants sign up for a time slot to ensure they can interact with the technology. This session is from 2-3pm. If you're unable to attend at this time, RVSP for a different time below.
