A wayzgoose is a printer's celebration. Come celebrate a year of printing with the American Printing History Association's Chesapeake Chapter! The wayzgoose will begin with a tour of materials related to the history of printing and the history of books featured in the Special Collections and University Archives exhibition, Unboxing Innovation in Special Collections. The program will then move to the Hornbake Library Letterpress Studio where visitors can print on the Denker and Hoover presses and share highlights from their own printing collections. A Chesapeake Chapter business meeting will be closed to the public and open only to Chapter leaders. All other parts of the program are open to the public. Light refreshments to be served.
