Out in the Open: A Conversation about Open Educational Resources

The high cost of textbooks started the conversation, and students from all over Maryland are mobilizing to make higher ed more affordable. This interdisciplinary forum, one of a series sponsored by the UMD Libraries, addresses how open (free) resources from on-campus, local and national initiatives provide meaningful benefits in the classroom.
