Managing, Registering, and Sharing Data with Open Science Framework (OSF)

Register for this event here.

In this workshop, we will cover:

  • A brief overview of how the OSF relates to the map of research infrastructure tools
  • Structuring projects on OSF to facilitate collaboration and transparency
  • Effectively documenting and sharing research planning, conducting, and output resources including data, code, and materials
  • The value of research registration
  • And opportunities to try these features and ask questions in a synchronous session

The Open Science Framework (OSF) is an open source project management tool that supports researchers throughout their entire project lifecycle. As a collaboration tool, OSF helps research teams work on projects privately or make the entire project publicly accessible for broad dissemination. As a workflow system, OSF enables connections to the many scientific tools researchers already use, streamlining their process and increasing efficiency. You may even use OSF as a portfolio tool for sharing your work with potential collaborators or employers.

An OSF workshop is a customizable experience that allows institutions or project teams to gain knowledge, resources, and experience using the OSF features and practices that are most important to them.
