Archiving a Legacy: A Conversation with Karen Falk of The Jim Henson Company

Join the University Libraries for a virtual conversation with Karen Falk, Archives Director for The Jim Henson Company and Vice President of The Jim Henson Legacy. This conversation will be moderated by Drew Barker, Performing Arts Librarian with the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library. 

Karen Falk has been Archives Director for The Jim Henson Company since 1992 and is Vice President of The Jim Henson Legacy. She is the author of Imagination Illustrated: The Jim Henson Journal and with The Jim Henson Legacy, has curated numerous exhibits including Inspired! Jim Henson at Maryland.

Falk works closely with the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta on their Jim Henson Collection and serves on the board of the Museum of The Moving Image in New York, collaborating on their permanent Jim Henson gallery.
